The excitement is building to what promises to be and amazing night in the Hazel Hotel, Monasterevin, on Tuesday,19th August 2008. 
Couples taking part in the Lilywhite Wedding will be joined by family and friends at the exciting Gala Final night. 

John Kelly and his staff in the Hazel Hotel, Monasterevin, are preparing give a special welcome to the couples, who have won through to the final night.  The winner of the valuable prize will be among them, the couple who will the toast of Kildare when they marry over the coming months and hold their reception in the Hazel Hotel. 

Noel Shannon from Kfm’s flagship current affairs programme Kildare Today  will host the special night.  He will be joined by John Dunne, also from Kildare’s own radio station, Kfm.  The Gala Final will see couples introduced to the large guest attendance of over 600 people as the Hazel Hotel hosts one of the greatest events of the year. 
Over 100,000 text votes were cast in the Lilywhite Wedding 2007 competition through the Kildare Post text line, which made the event one of the most popular in the history of Kfm and the Kildare Post newspaper.  The lucky couple to win the breath-taking prize in the Lilywhite Wedding competition will not only enjoy a fabulous wedding reception in the Hazel Hotel for their family and friends, but also get a host of added extra prizes.
